TARZANA, Calif., May 19, 2025 ~ Survivorship, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors and co-survivors of child abuse, is celebrating the success of its recent online conference held from May 16-18, 2025. The conference, which is part of Survivorship's ongoing efforts to provide resources and support for survivors of extreme abuse, featured presentations for both survivors and clinicians.
With a focus on topics such as trauma and dissociation, complex trauma, and the impact of social movements on survivor support systems, the conference aimed to educate and empower attendees. Survivorship has been providing support for survivors for 36 years through resources, education, conferences, and discussion groups.
One of the featured speakers at the conference was Dr. Laurie Matthew OBE, founder and Manager of Eighteen And Under - an award-winning charity that provides confidential support services to young people who have been abused. Dr. Matthew is also a founding member of MAIRSINN (Movement Against Inhuman Ritual Abuse).
Another notable speaker was Lynn Brunet (PhD), an Australian art historian whose research focuses on the connection between Masonic and other fraternal initiation rites and complex trauma in modern and contemporary western art and literature.

Dr. Randy Noblitt, a professor of Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles, also presented at the conference on the topic of "People Who Identify as Plural." His presentation explored various circumstances where individuals may experience multiple identities or selves.
The role of mental health professionals in family courts when investigating extreme abuse cases was discussed by Dr. Rainer Hermann Kurz - a Chartered Psychologist based in London with over 30 years of experience in research and development roles for leading test publishers.
Neil Brick, a survivor of ritualistic abuse himself, spoke about the difficulties that ritualistic abuse survivors face when trying to obtain mental health and social support services. Brick has been publishing his child and ritualistic abuse newsletter S.M.A.R.T. for 30 years and is a strong advocate for survivors.
The conference also highlighted the evidence of ritual abuse and provided resources for those seeking more information. Survivorship's website offers a wealth of information on ritual abuse, including articles, research, and survivor stories.
In addition to the conference presentations, attendees were able to access online resources and participate in discussion groups to connect with other survivors and co-survivors.
