Springfield, Mo. ~ Springfield Police Department Seeks Public's Help in Identifying Hit-and-Run Driver

The Springfield Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the driver of a suspect vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident on April 7, 2025. According to authorities, officers were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Mt. Vernon Street at approximately 8:34 p.m.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a white Dodge Durango traveling eastbound on Broadway Avenue. The Durango collided with the northbound motorcycle in the intersection before fleeing the scene. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police are now searching for the driver of the white Dodge Durango, which has front-end damage and no license plates. They are urging anyone with information about the owner or whereabouts of this vehicle to contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1758 or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477) or online at p3tips.com. The department is counting on community cooperation to help bring justice to this hit-and-run case.
