Springfield: Motorcyclist killed in two-vehicle crash

Springfield, Mo. ~ A tragic accident occurred in Springfield, Missouri on July 12, when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Glenn Avenue and State Street. According to the Springfield Police Department, officers responded to the scene at 12:09 p.m.

The crash involved a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by 45-year-old James Brady and a 2013 Chrysler sedan driven by 56-year-old Candy Graham, both residents of Springfield. Brady was traveling northbound on Glenn Avenue while Graham was heading southbound and attempting to make a left turn onto State Street.

Unfortunately, the collision resulted in life-threatening injuries for Brady who was immediately transported to the hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he later succumbed to his injuries. His family has been notified of his passing. It was reported that Brady was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
