Springfield: LOCATED - Missing Endangered Person: John Owen

Springfield, Mo. ~ Springfield Police Department successfully located 58-year-old John Owen, who was reported missing earlier today. The department had issued a public appeal for assistance in finding the endangered individual.

According to authorities, Owen was last seen at his residence on S. Missouri Avenue at 2 p.m. on September 23, where he was on a video call with his family. He was described as being 5-foot-9 and weighing 170 pounds, with blonde and grey hair and beard, and green eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black "Michigan Wolverines" hoodie with white lettering, khaki cargo shorts, and flip flops. He left his residence on foot without his cell phone.

Concerns were raised for Owen's physical wellbeing based on statements made to his family. However, thanks to the prompt response from the community and law enforcement agencies, he has been found safe.
