The survey is open to all residents of Spokane and aims to collect input that reflects the needs and preferences of the community. The deadline for completing the survey is midnight on Sunday, September 21. The results will be presented during the Finance and Administration Committee meeting on September 22, 2025.

If approved, the change will be reflected in a first reading of the resolution on October 6, 2025, with a final reading and discussion scheduled for Monday, October 20 during a legislative session. The proposed change would take effect in August 2026.
