Spokane: City Council Hosts Community Day Celebrating Disability And Accessibility Community

~ Spokane City Council is set to host a Community Day event on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Chase Gallery in City Hall. The event aims to showcase the diverse abilities of the city's residents and promote understanding and connection with those with disabilities.

Organizations such as Shaping Spokane Together, Inspire Soccer League, Aging and Long Term Care, The Lighthouse for the Blind Inc., PEACE NW, and Disability Action Center NW (DAC) will be setting up booths for attendees to interact with representatives and learn more about their services.
