A new members-only platform is setting out to transform how textured hair professionals access products, perks and community — with early support from industry leaders including celebrity hairstylist Lorraine Dublin.

The UK's textured hair industry is thriving — worth over £88 million, with Black women spending up to three times more than other consumers on haircare. Yet the stylists and barbers who specialise in Afro and textured hair remain chronically underserved by professional distributors and brands.
Curl Coalition, a new members-only platform, aims to change that — creating a space where hair professionals can order products in groups, access exclusive perks and build collective power in an industry that often overlooks them.
"Stylists are the gatekeepers of the textured hair market — yet they're the last to be supported," says Ihunna Eberendu, founder of Curl Coalition. "We're building a space where they can save money, shape what comes next and be seen as the professionals they are."
