Naperville: Structure Fire in the 3000 Block of Tussell Street

NAPERVILLE, Ill. ~ On Thursday, April 30, at approximately 1:53 p.m., the Naperville Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received a 911 call regarding a possible structure fire at a residential property on Tussell Street. The ECC immediately dispatched a general alarm assignment, consisting of multiple units from the Naperville Fire Department.
Upon arrival, the first responders conducted a thorough survey of the structure and provided an on-scene report. They also established command and began searching the residence for any occupants. Fortunately, all individuals were safely evacuated before the fire department's arrival.

The initial search revealed that the fire was located at the rear of the structure. Firefighters quickly took action to contain and extinguish the flames, while also ensuring that there were no other hazards present.
Assisting on the scene were members of the City of Naperville Transportation, Engineering and Development Department and the Naperville Police Department. The estimated damage to the property is $50,000, and it has been determined that the cause of the fire was unintentional.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters. Additionally, no residents were displaced as a result of this incident. The swift response and efficient actions taken by all involved helped prevent any further damage or harm.
