Million Whys releases six $0.99 kids science books on Apple Books

TORONTO - Rezul -- TORONTO — Million Whys Press has released six illustrated children's science books in the A Million Whys series. Each title answers 150 questions in full color and sells for $0.99 on Apple Books.

A page is one stop. A child asks. A labeled picture opens. A short explanation, a wow fact, and a try-this follow. The books are written so a parent can read a single stop on a phone and a child can keep going.

The six titles are The Great Expedition, The Inside Expedition, The Built Expedition, The Wild Expedition, The Time Expedition, and The Ocean Expedition. Questions run from why the sky is blue and why cats purr to why planes fly, why fossils turn to stone, and why the ocean is salty.

"The job is not to sound smart," said Tony Sung, founder of Million Whys Press, who produces the books in Toronto. "The job is to take a question a seven-year-old will not drop and give it a scene they can see."
