The address, which took place in 2026, focused on accountability, opportunity, and long-term stability, all framed by the principles of being Built on Tradition, Built for Opportunity, Built Together, and Built to Last.
Mayor Freeman emphasized Mesa's continued momentum as one of the best-run cities in the country. He credited this success to careful planning, responsible financial management, and a commitment to delivering consistent results for residents and businesses.
"The state of our city is strong, and we're not standing still," said Mayor Freeman. "We've built a foundation based on trust, accountability, and responsible growth. And we're using that foundation to create real opportunities for the people of Mesa."
