Kansas: Water main Break in area of E 11th to Truman and Benton Blvd to Jackson to cause outages

~ Kansas City Water Department is currently facing a main break in the area of E 11th to Truman and Benton Blvd to Jackson Ave. According to reports, the call was received at approximately noon on Saturday, June 28th. In order to address the issue, crews will be closing multiple water valves in the affected area to conduct emergency repairs on the main. The estimated repair time is expected to take between 8 and 12 hours.
