Kansas: KC Water to shut off water near 39th and Paseo Blvd for valve replacement work June 10th

~ Kansas City Water Department (KC Water) has announced plans to replace 10 valves in the Forest Ave to Woodland Ave and E. 35th St. to E. 41st St. area on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. This is part of their ongoing efforts to maintain high quality water infrastructure.
In order to complete this project, KC Water will need to shut off water to approximately 265 customers from 8am to 4pm. The affected customers will be notified through door hangers and electronic message boards in the area.

The work will begin on the west side of Paseo Blvd and once completed, customers in that area will have their water service restored before crews shift over to the east side of the street.
Customers who have any questions or concerns about the project can contact KC Water at 816-513-1313. Additionally, those who have their water shut off can request bottled water from KC Water at the same number.
This valve replacement project is crucial for maintaining a reliable and safe water supply for residents in the area. KC Water appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers during this necessary maintenance work.
