In addition, City Hall, the CBJ Permit Center, and all other CBJ offices will also be closed for the day. However, staff members will be working remotely and can be reached by phone or email.
For those who rely on public transportation, Capital Transit will be operating on winter routes. There will be no service up Cordova Street to Cedar Park on Douglas Island; passengers are advised to wait for the bus at the Breeze In stop. There will also be no service on Franklin or 4th street in Downtown Juneau; passengers should wait for the bus at the Downtown Transit Center stop. Delays are expected on all routes.
The CBJ would like to thank the community for their cooperation in staying off the roads whenever possible to allow crews to safely clear them. Residents are reminded to use caution when traveling and follow any instructions from local authorities during this time of inclement weather.
