Rezul News/10699477
PITTSBURGH, April 17, 2025 ~ Augusta, Ga. - An inventor from Augusta, Georgia has created a new kitchen appliance that aims to simplify the process of making dough for Latin American dishes. The MASA GRINDER, as it is called, was designed to quickly and efficiently process hard vegetables and roots into a perfect consistency for dough.

The inventor, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared that the idea for the MASA GRINDER came from a desire to provide individuals with a more efficient and timesaving method of creating masa/maize dough. "I wanted to eliminate the hassle of manual grinding and create a tool that would make the process easier for households and restaurants," they said.

The patent-pending invention offers an alternative to traditional methods of creating masa/maize dough and can also be used with other ingredients such as cassava, potatoes, green beans, bananas yautia, horseradish, and coconut to make both Latin American and European dishes.
