Homicide Investigation – 1000 block of South Tacoma Way

At approximately 12:36 a.m., Tacoma Police officers responded to the 1000 block of South Tacoma Way for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with possible gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began lifesaving measures until the Tacoma Fire Department arrived.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are actively investigating this incident as a homicide. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
