HAIKU, Hawaii - Rezul -- Maui architect David Sellers, principal and founder of Hawaii Off Grid (http://www.hawaiioffgrid.com), has officially declared his candidacy for AIA National 2027 President-elect/2028 President.

As the leader of an architecture and engineering studio dedicated exclusively to net-zero design for over a decade, Sellers aims to address the critical intersection of resiliency, affordability, and education currently facing the profession.

"Without entrepreneurship and leadership, we risk designing and building for a climate, and a world, that no longer exists," Sellers stated. "As a practicing architect, I will bring momentum and initiative at the national level and endeavor to be a proactive steward of the institution and profession."
