Fort Bend & City Officials Proclaim "SWIF Day" at Historic Inauguration

HOUSTON - Rezul -- On Sunday, February 15, 2026, faith and civic leadership converged at New Covenant Christian Church in Houston as Shepherd's Watch International Fellowship (SWIF) formally inaugurated its Ecumenical Council of Bishops during a sacred Service of Installation. Presided over by Bishop Bill Hines Jr., the ceremony elevated seasoned pastors to the office of Bishop and affirmed their charge to uphold ethical leadership, accountable governance, and spiritual oversight.

Distinguished civic leaders and members of the judiciary were present in support of the Fellowship's mission. Representatives from the Mayor's Office, the Office of the Comptroller, and Fort Bend County formally issued proclamations declaring February 15th "SWIF Day," recognizing SWIF's commitment to leadership development, community partnership, economic advancement, and measurable public impact. The inauguration marks a unified effort to strengthen collaboration between faith institutions and civic leadership across the region.
