Florida Startup Brings Light to Life

Rezul News/10699874
Taking lighting to a new level, Living Lights has introduced a blooming motion enabled lighting collection changing the interior lighting landscape forever.

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Rezul -- Living Lights has launched the first-ever motion-enabled interior lighting collection on the Kickstarter platform. Known as The Lotus Collection, these pendants, table and floor lamps use silent motors to create a moving, blooming effect. Paired with colored or white lights, these lights are elegant, original statement pieces for residential and commercial spaces. Inspired by lotus blossoms, the petals delicately open and close in a range of speeds. See lighting come to life at https://www.bit.ly/4lFbPK0.

Living Lights has not only created a beautiful interior design piece, they have brought new technology to the lighting world. Their proprietary Living Lights app allows for a plethora of customization options:
  • Sync Multiple Living Lights for an Incredible Visual Lighting Show
  • Adjust Bloom Speed and Bloom Range (How Open and Closed You Would Like Your Lotus)
  • Full Range of Colors and White Lights; Brightness Control
  • Group and Schedule Living Lights

A light that is good for you? Studies have shown that patients, specifically elderly, children and people with disabilities greatly benefit from "Positive Distraction". Living Lights provides a calming effect that reduces stress and anxiety, and can positively distract patients in healthcare or home settings during procedures or medical evaluations. Having the functionality to schedule Living Lights gives the added benefit of assisting patients staying in their correct circadian rhythms. Long term hospital or rehabilitation patients often negatively adjust their internal clocks, while having a scheduled lighting feature in each room, patients will positively benefit by keeping their ideal circadian rhythm.

Your Organization

The Living Lights is a start up from seasoned lighting professionals. Founders Rakesh and Kate Reddy have over twenty years in the lighting business, including developing LED products for the commercial and pool lighting markets. Their past startup, DreamScreen was acquired by Phillips Hue/Signify in 2020. Rakesh and Kate had a long term goal of bringing art and motion into everyday lighting. They created The Lotus Collection with the hope that others would also be inspired to expand what we see as lighting, and to bring it to life.
