Rezul News/10740046
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Parks and Recreation will close the natural surface trail at the Gans Creek Recreation Area, 3100 Gans Road, Saturday, July 11, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The trail will be closed because of the department's planned junior obstacle course mud run, Splat. The Splat course intersects with the natural surface trail; at those intersections, flagging and barricades will be installed, and the trail will be closed. About 1,200 youth are expected to participate in Splat, which is held at Gans each year.
