Columbia: Sidewalk and parking lane closure on Locust Street, July 8-11

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ COLUMBIA, MO - Rost Landscaping will be conducting landscaping work at Calvary Episcopal Church, located at 123 S. Ninth St., starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8. The project will involve closing a section of the sidewalk on the north side of Locust Street between South Eighth and South Ninth Streets. In addition, five metered parking spaces on the north side of Locust will be reserved for the duration of the work.

To ensure safety and accessibility for pedestrians, ADA-compliant barricades will be placed along the closed sidewalk. Signs will also be posted to direct pedestrians to use the sidewalk on the south side of Locust Street.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed and the sidewalk reopened by 7 p.m. on Friday, July 11. The community is advised to plan accordingly and use caution when navigating around this area during this time.
