City of Columbia accepting applications for boards and commissions

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ The City of Columbia is offering residents the opportunity to get involved in local government by accepting applications for various boards and commissions. These positions allow individuals to represent the voices of their community and have a say in important decisions. Interested applicants can find the application on the City's website, CoMo.gov, and must submit it to the City Clerk's Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd. The available positions include the Bicycle/Pedestrian Commission, Board of Adjustment, Building Construction Codes Commission, Finance Advisory and Audit Committee, and Planning and Zoning Commission.
