The City of Bloomington has reached a significant milestone in its 2026 Community Survey. After completing the statistically valid sample from a randomized and representative group of households, the survey is now open to all residents for broader community participation until May 15, 2026.

The first phase of the survey was focused on gathering responses from a specific sample to ensure reliable and accurate results. With this threshold now met, the survey has entered its second phase, allowing any resident to provide feedback on City services, priorities, and quality of life.

The survey is being conducted in partnership with aQity Research & Insights Inc., an independent research firm. To maintain confidentiality, all responses will be reported in aggregate form only. Residents can access the open participation survey at arisurvey.com/s3/Bloom26.

Although open participation responses will not be included in the scientific sample, they will provide valuable additional insight and context for the City to better understand community experiences and priorities. The final report will be compiled and publicly presented after the data collection period ends.

The City encourages all residents to take part in this important survey and share their perspectives. For more information, please contact [insert contact information].
