Chosen Invites Community to Celebrate the Launch of the Mobile Family Closet!
Rezul News/10734962
WAUKESHA, Wis. - Rezul -- Supporters of Chosen Inc. of Wisconsin ("Chosen"), a non-profit ministry dedicated to supporting foster and adoptive children and families, are invited to celebrate the official launch of Chosen's new Mobile Family Closet during two upcoming ribbon cutting events this June!
Building on the success of Chosen's Family Closet in Waukesha, the Mobile Family Closet was created to bring essential resources directly to foster, adoptive, and kinship families throughout southeastern Wisconsin. This new initiative helps remove barriers such as transportation challenges and limited access to resources, ensuring families can receive support where and when they need it most.
Ribbon cutting celebrations will take place Saturday, June 6, from 1 pm to 4 pm at Spring Creek Church in Pewaukee and Saturday, June 20, from 12 pm to 3 pm at Fox River Church in Waukesha. Both family-friendly events will include food, truck tours, Chosen t-shirt sales, and the opportunity to participate in the "Lend A Hand" campaign in support of the Mobile Family Closet initiative. The June 6 event will also feature a bags tournament, so be sure to grab a partner and sign up before the spots fill up!

Both ribbon cutting events are free and open to the community! Registration for the bags tournament at the June 6 celebration is $30 per team, with prizes awarded to tournament winners. Community members who would like to support the Mobile Family Closet can also contribute through Chosen's ribbon cutting donation campaign at Ribbon Cutting Donation Page (https://bit.ly/3PhYxI6?utm_source=chatgpt.com). Chosen's goal is to raise $5,000 to continue expanding support and resources for foster, adoptive, and kinship families throughout southeastern Wisconsin!
Since its founding in 2016, Chosen has served more than 775 families from 15 southeastern Wisconsin counties, caring for more than 1,700 foster or adopted children. Its Family Closet has given away more than 95,000 items to families since May 2017.
Chosen is dedicated to educating the public about the impact of adoption and fostering, and providing spiritual, material, and emotional support to families who have chosen these oft-misunderstood paths.
