Rezul News/10724960
~ The Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) has officially announced its relocation to new permanent offices at 26 Court Street, the former Old City Hall Annex. This move comes after a two-year-long rehabilitation project that cost $160 million and aimed to transform the historic building into a modern and functional office space.

The 1912 exterior of the former Old City Hall Annex has been meticulously restored while the interior has been creatively reconfigured to meet the needs of a state-of-the-art office environment. The OHP is now situated on the second floor of the building, proudly sharing space with other departments in the City's Environment, Energy, and Open Space Cabinet.

After six years at their previous location in the former Kirstein Library, OHP staff are excited to be co-located with other city departments and working in a beautifully rehabilitated building. Despite the move, email addresses and phone numbers for OHP staff will remain unchanged. However, their new mailing address is now 26 Court Street, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02108.

The OHP expressed their gratitude to the City of Boston Property Management Department and Public Facilities Department for their leadership and dedication in completing this important project. They also commended them for making the move and settling-in process smooth and welcoming for staff members.

This relocation marks an exciting new chapter for the Office of Historic Preservation as they continue their important work in preserving Boston's rich history.
