~ Boston, MA - Councilors Durkan and Worrell have introduced a resolution to honor the Boston Fleet players who represented their countries in the Winter Olympics in Milan. The U.S. women's team, which included four players from the Fleet, had an impressive run, winning all seven of their games and outscoring their opponents 33 to 2. Their most memorable moment came in the finals when they defeated Canada in a thrilling overtime match to claim their third gold medal.

The four Boston Fleet players who earned medals were Megan Keller, Aerin Frankel, and Haley Winn for the U.S., and Alina Müller for Switzerland. It is worth noting that Keller, Frankel, and Müller all began their collegiate careers at Boston institutions - Boston College and Northeastern University.
