Bloomington: Animal Shelter Continues Matching Fundraiser to Help More Local Animals
Rezul News/10743794
~ Bloomington, IN- The City of Bloomington Animal Shelter is gearing up for a special community fundraiser to support the needs of animals in their care. The "Double the Love" campaign will kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and run until Monday, Sept. 21. This fundraiser aims to raise funds for the shelter's medical fund, which provides emergency surgeries, medical treatments and other essential care for animals.
According to Virgil Sauder, Director of the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter, this fundraiser is crucial as the shelter continues to face the ongoing challenge of providing medical care for animals in need. With limited resources, every donation counts and this matching campaign will double the impact of each contribution.
The community is encouraged to get involved and help make a difference in the lives of these animals. Donations can be made online at https://bloomington.in.gov/animal-shelter/donat... or in person at the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter located at 3410 S. Walnut St. Those who prefer to mail a check can do so by sending it to City of Bloomington Animal Shelter, Attn: Fundraiser Donation, 3410 S. Walnut St., Bloomington, IN 47401.
