Blocking ICE Recruiters From Law Schools, GWU Campus

In addition,Two New Concerning Immigration Enforcement Tactics
WASHINGTON - Rezul -- Law students at Georgetown and George Washington universities are sending a letter with over 1000 signatories demanding that representatives from federal immigration enforcement agencies be barred from recruiting events on campus.
Also, activist students at George Washington University [GWU] and probably elsewhere are demanding that campuses go far beyond mere "sanctuary campuses" to becoming completely ICE-free campuses, reports public interest law professor John Banzhaf of GWU.
More specifically they demand that GWU - which has been labeled a "Campus Under Siege" - "Ban ICE, MPD, and all other external immigration and law enforcement from our campus and refuse these agencies access to campus without a judicial warrant."
Ironically, in another move guaranteed to increase the growing resistance movement, immigration enforcement agents are being told - based upon a secret memo - that they no longer need a warrant signed by a judge to enter even a private home, and they are being trained to break down doors if necessary, notes Banzhaf.

Finally, many home owners who have installed a Ring doorbell camera on their front doors - where they often provide an unobstructed view of the street and cars passing by - may be shocked if not outraged to learn that ICE has access to many of those images. Activists charge that "YOUR RING CAMERA IS AN ICE AGENT."
