AyoCosmo Launches AI Phone Booking Agent That Won't Book a Beauty Appointment Until Deposit Is Paid

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Rezul -- SHERIDAN, Wyo. - AyoCosmo today launched an AI phone booking agent for beauty professionals that answers the shop's phone, books appointments from the shop's own Square services and prices, and texts the caller a Square deposit link. Nothing is booked until the deposit is paid.

The agent is built for barbers, braiders, salons, nail techs, and lash, brow and skin pros, whose hands are usually busy with a client when the phone rings.

Many beauty pros already require deposits on their online booking pages. The phone is where that rule tends to break down: a call that comes in mid-service often goes unanswered, and an appointment taken over the phone often goes on the books with no deposit behind it. Salon and spa software company Zenoti reports that 37% of inbound calls across the salon and spa industry go unanswered.

When a shop connects its Square account, AyoCosmo pulls in the shop's services and prices. The agent answers incoming calls, books the client into the shop's own menu and texts a Square deposit link that is good for 15 minutes. The appointment is confirmed only after the deposit is paid, so phone bookings follow the same deposit rule as online ones.
