Asheville After Dark: KayeDinero Turns Mountain Nights Into New Single "Starlight"

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Rezul -- Asheville-based independent artist and producer KayeDinero is continuing an increasingly prolific year with the release of her newest instrumental single, "Starlight," available now.

Inspired by the experience of looking across the Appalachian landscape from Western North Carolina beneath a sky filled with stars, "Starlight" captures another side of the cinematic instrumental storytelling that has begun defining KayeDinero's recent catalog.

Rather than filling every moment with sound, KayeDinero uses melody, atmosphere, rhythm and space to create music designed to feel visual.

"Some songs start with a beat, but some start with an image," said KayeDinero. "'Starlight' started with that feeling of looking out across the mountains at night. Asheville has given me a different relationship with space, nature and creativity, and I wanted the music to reflect that."

The single arrives only days after KayeDinero introduced "K-Mart," "Grace" and "Been Famous," following an August run that also included "Red Flag," "Not Social," "Billions Duh" and "Saved Me."

The pace is intentional.

For KayeDinero, the current releases function less like disconnected singles and more like entries in an evolving creative diary—moving between ambition, spirituality, place, confidence and reflection.

"Living in Asheville has made me want to create more, but it has also made me listen differently," KayeDinero said. "There is live music, art, nature and authenticity around you. 'Starlight' represents the quieter side of that inspiration."

The artist produces digitally on a MacBook using a flexible creative workflow that can include GarageBand, FL Studio and Logic Pro, while keeping her exact sound libraries, presets and production chain private.

"I protect the recipe, but I'm always happy to explain the flavor," KayeDinero said.
