NEW YORK - Rezul -- NEW YORK — Following an impactful broadcast television premiere during the week of October 25, 2026, "The Sight Unseen" continues to share its powerful story of faith and history, and eyewitness testimony with audiences on Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) Lifestyle, with additional encore broadcasts scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 7 p.m. ET, and Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 9 p.m. ET.

The alignment of this observance with the broadcast offers a meaningful opportunity to revisit this historical account, connecting the story's spiritual significance with themes of sacred symbolism and the preservation of testimony.

Presented by Harlem Film House and produced by Perspexsion, "The Sight Unseen" is a documentary-drama examining a reported 1971 Bronx phenomenon involving a glowing Christian cross through religious, historical, and cultural perspectives. Blending personal recollections, archival discoveries, historical context, and dramatic storytelling, the film explores the relationship between experience and collective memory. Its New York City television debut reflects its direct connection to religious history.

Shawn Antoine II first learned of the story in 2016, when his great-aunt described it during a hospital visit. His mother, Sharon Wilson-Antoine, was six years old when the cross appeared. Years later, at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, he discovered a photograph of his mother, grandmother, and aunt published in the New York Amsterdam News, as part of Melvin Tapley's reporting on the phenomenon. Those family memories and archival discoveries became the basis for "The Sight Unseen".
