The series features cover art by Farashta Rezai, a graphic design student at George Mason University. Drawing inspiration from ancient Greek art and myth, Rezai's designs evoke the heroism and tragedy at the heart of Homer's world. The Iliad's cover, showing stylized warriors emerging from a stormed sky, mirrors the poem's enduring tension between triumph and loss.
