The CRE Finance Council Announces New Chairs for Industry Forums

New Chairs and Chair ~ The CRE Finance Council (CREFC) has announced the appointment of new Chairs for its industry Forums for the 2025-2026 term. The new Forum leadership was elected during CREFC's Annual June Conference in New York City on Tuesday.
CREFC's Forums represent various market constituencies that drive the U.S. commercial real estate finance industry. These Forums include Alternative Lenders and High-Yield Investors, CMBS B-Piece Investors, CMBS Investment-Grade Bondholders, CMBS Issuers, CMBS Servicers, Master Servicers, Special Servicers, GSE/Multifamily Lenders, Portfolio Lenders, Bank Lenders, and Insurance Company Lenders. Each Forum works to address issues specific to their business sector while striving to find solutions that benefit the entire industry.
The incoming slate of Forum leaders includes:
B-Piece Investors: Josh Brand from Argentic as Chair-Elect, Frank Yin from KKR as Chair, and Peter Lindner from Rialto Capital Advisors as Past-Chair. Jason Nick from Starwood Property Trust served as Past-Chair in 2024-2025.
GSE/Multifamily Lenders: Lee Green from Wells Fargo as Chair-Elect, David Haynes from CBRE Multifamily Capital Inc. as Chair, and Ahmed Hasan from Capital One as Past-Chair. John Jang from Fannie Mae and Jason Griest from Freddie Mac will serve as GSE representatives. In 2024-2025, Kate Whalen from BMO was the Past-Chair.

Servicers: Amanda Dugat from SitusAMC and Brett Mann from LNR Partners will serve as Chairs-Elect, while Dana Jo Martino from Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC and Alex Killick from CWCapital will serve as Co-Chairs. Adam Fox from Fitch Ratings and Pamela Dent will continue to serve as Past-Chairs. In 2024-2025, Leslie Hayton from Trimont and Tony Yousif from SVN were the Past-Chairs.

Alternative Lenders & High-Yield Investors: Rachel Hunter-Goldman from KKR remains as Chair-Elect, Samantha Rotchford serves as Chair for BDT & MSD Partners, and Samir Tejpaul continues to serve as Past-Chair for Madison Realty Capital.
Lisa Pendergast, President and CEO of CREFC expressed her excitement about the new Forum members and thanked the existing and past Forum members for their dedication and support of their work. She emphasized the important role that Forum leaders play in developing industry practices, advocating for their constituents, and ensuring all voices are heard. Pendergast also acknowledged the contributions of Forum leaders in driving innovation and evolution within the commercial real estate finance industry.
