TORONTO - Rezul -- Basements are a great place to remodel. All unfinished places can be fixed up so that they can add more use and daily living needs while adding more space.
In order to begin the process, the proper steps need to be taken to ensure that the space is going to be able to be done right. The first thing that needs to be done is to take a look and see if there are any pipe problems or leaks happening. We also need to make sure that the ceiling is an appropriate height. The laws will also need to eb looked at to make sure that the codes are being following and renovations are allowed.
After that, we are safe to proceed. Now we can start the planning process on how you want the end result to be. If we run into problems like ceilings that are too low, one option might be to rip up the current one and dig down deeper so that we can pour new concrete. Depending on where you live will determine if this can be done.

For all basements, we like to try and make sure that as much natural light comes through as possible. When doing this, it helps keep things like mold at bay. We also make sure to install insulation in order to keep your house heating and cooling efficient. After the insulation is installed, we will apply new drywall. As per your wishes, we can make walls for new rooms and renovate the space to your liking.
How We Can Help
Basements are very unutilized spaces. If you are looking to do something with your basement, we will be able to help you! Check out our website to see all of our services and what we are all about. You can also give us a call and we would be happy to answer any of your questions!
