Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge Announces 2025 Call for Applications

DENVER - Rezul -- Colorado Cleantech is now accepting applications for the twelfth annual Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge, a market-driven innovation showcase to be held in person in Denver, CO, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Colorado Governor's Residence.

Colorado Cleantech is hosting the Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge in partnership with international oil and gas industry leaders. The program provides targeted connections between our industry sponsors and clean technology solution providers with the common goal of meeting the industry's needs while introducing innovative cleantech solutions to the marketplace. Companies selected for participation in the program have the opportunity to present directly to industry leaders.

"We're witnessing an unprecedented collaboration where traditional energy companies are actively embracing innovative solutions to drive sustainable progress across the entire industry."

Areas of interest to the Sponsor Judges include, but are not limited to:

• Air, especially methane, VOC, criteria pollutant detection, ethane, and quantification or control
• Carbon capture, utilization, and storage
• Digital Oilfield
• Energy storage
• Geothermal
• Water
• Items to reduce truck traffic
• Space-saving items to reduce footprint
• Methane pyrolysis
• Power management
• Plant or biological solutions
• Advanced materials and chemicals
• Solid pollution reduction
• Hydrogen and hydrogen infrastructure
• Low-pressure/low-flow maintenance

Interested innovative companies will enter a competitive vetting process, after which 10-12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to the oil and gas partners. The application deadline is Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 5pm (MDT).
