League of Women Voters PBC Welcomes 200 to Annual Gala Luncheon in WPB

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Rezul -- (West Palm Beach, FL – March 19, 2026) Celebrating their mission of Empowering Voters, Defending Democracy, the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County (LWVPBC) welcomed around 200 friends and supporters to its recent annual fundraiser at the Marriott West Palm Beach.
The special guest speaker was Dianna Wynn, president of the National League of Women Voters, who shared the nonpartisan organization's role in protecting free and fair elections and the importance of community-based civic engagement in strengthening democracy. Luncheon highlights included a silent auction and the premiere of a short video promoting LWVPBC.
The funds raised at the event will fund LWVPBC's year-round voter education programs, various candidate forums, and advocacy efforts that have served Palm beach County since 1975. Sponsors and underwriters included The Palm Beach Post, FPL, Smith Ball Baez & Prather Florida Injury Lawyers, and event co-chair Rebecca Taylor Cohen.
