Inaugural Kids Fishing Classic Comes to Causeway Cove Marina

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Rezul -- The Kids Fishing Classic aims to foster a love for fishing among young participants by providing an educational and memorable outdoor experience. The event offers a supportive and fun-filled environment where children can learn essential fishing skills, connect with fellow young anglers, and engage in friendly competition.

Open to all children aged 16 and under, the competition will award prizes and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to the participants who catch the longest fish. All participants must be accompanied by an adult and bring their own rod, reel, bait, and equipment.

To ensure a fair and safe competition, all fishing must be conducted with a rod and reel from designated docks and surrounding areas. The use of nets is not permitted, and adults may not assist the young anglers with their catch. All participants are required to comply with Florida Fishing Regulations.

The Kids Fishing Classic is a new addition to the popular Causeway Cove Marine Flea Market and Boat Sale, adding a family-friendly activity to the weekend's festivities.
