The Canadian short film festival announces a high-profile jury lineup while inviting filmmakers across Canada to submit before the final May 29 deadline.

ORANGEVILLE, Ontario - Rezul -- ORANGEVILLE, Ontario  -- The Dufferin Film Festival (DFF) has officially announced its 2026 Jury, bringing together an accomplished group of professionals from film, television, talent representation, and post-production to review the festival's final film selections and determine this year's award winners.

The jury includes industry leaders whose credits span major studio films, international broadcast networks, streaming platforms, and award-winning post-production companies — reinforcing DFF's growing reputation as a destination for Canadian independent filmmakers.

Marcus Fehér will serve as Jury Chair, returning to DFF after previously participating as a festival speaker. With nearly two decades of industry experience, his credits include projects such as Marvel Zombies, Sausage Party, and the feature film David.

The 2026 Jury includes:
  • Amanda Rosenthal — Founder of ART Agency, representing actors across Canada and the United States for over 25 years.
  • Eric Whipp — Co-Founder and Supervising Colourist at Alter Ego, with credits including Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa, and Happy Feet.
  • Geoff Ashenhurst — Award-winning editor whose work includes collaborations with Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Paramount, Annapurna, and Amblin.
  • Jennifer Abrams — Senior Vice President of Content and Marketing at Corus Entertainment, overseeing programming and content strategy across Global TV, specialty networks, and streaming platforms including STACKTV.
  • Monica Remba — Partner at School Editing, internationally recognized for award-winning commercial and long-form editorial work.
