EAST KILBRIDE, N.Y. - Rezul -- Former BBC Financial Expert Gains US Readership with Techno-Thriller Series Exploring the Consequences of Modern Technology
Scotland-based author Richard Fenton, a former BBC presenter and financial expert, is seeing growing readership in the United States with his techno-thriller series, The Breaking Point Series.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in financial services and technology, Fenton's fiction explores the real-world consequences of powerful systems, decision-making, and the idea that a single moment can change everything.
The series, which includes titles such as Terms & Conditions Apply, No Time to Forget, and The Distance Between Good and Evil, has recently seen a surge in reader engagement, with multiple books being read consecutively through Kindle Unlimited.

"I've always been interested in the point where technology stops being helpful and starts becoming something else," said Fenton. "The stories come from asking simple questions — what if we could change something? And what happens when we do?"
Before turning to fiction, Fenton worked as a financial expert and media contributor, appearing on BBC programmes including Property Virgins and Right on the Money, and writing a weekly column under the name "Debt Buster" for national newspapers.
Now based in Scotland, he continues to write stories that combine high-concept ideas with grounded, real-world consequences.
The Breaking Point Series is available now on Amazon.
