NEW YORK - Rezul -- FoodNiche-ED, an education technology company advancing science and nutrition education, today announced the launch of the FoodNiche-ED Innovation Showcase (A National Student Science, Nutrition & Health Innovation Showcase), premiering on May 26, 2026, in New York City.
The FoodNiche-ED Innovation Showcase is a national, student-centered culminating event open exclusively to FoodNiche-ED participating schools, designed to spotlight how science education can be transformed when connected to real-world experiences.
The showcase brings together student teams from across the country to present inquiry-driven projects that demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Students proffer solutions to real world challenges such as sustainability, food health challenges, food waste and food insecurity.

At the core of the showcase is FoodNiche-ED's mission to support teachers in driving student engagement and interest in the sciences, while equipping students with the skills needed to become the next generation of innovators and changemakers.
"Teachers are looking for meaningful ways to engage students in science beyond memorization," said Dr. Julia Olayanju, Founder of FoodNiche-ED. "This showcase highlights what happens when students are given the tools, context, and confidence to apply science to food, health, and community challenges that matter."
Empowering Teachers Through Technology & Project-Based Learning
FoodNiche-ED provides participating schools with technology-enabled resources, curriculum-aligned content, and project-based learning opportunities that help teachers integrate science, nutrition, and health into their classrooms without adding instructional burden. Through guided inquiry, multimedia resources, and scaffolded projects, students develop deeper scientific understanding while building real-world problem-solving skills.
