Faulkner, Unbound: Casa Carlini Unveils Bold New Carlini Classics Editions of an American Master
Rezul News/10722820
NEW YORK - Rezul -- Casa Carlini announces a bold new Carlini Classics series celebrating the early works of William Faulkner, one of America's most innovative literary voices. The launch includes The Sound and the Fury, Mosquitoes, Sartoris, and Soldier's Pay, with As I Lay Dying scheduled for January 1, 2026. Additional titles will follow as works enter the public domain.
The series features striking cover designs by Christina Marchewa, a graphic design student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Her visual approach emphasizes mood, atmosphere, and emotional tension—an ideal match for Faulkner's Southern landscapes, fractured psyches, and daring narrative experimentation.

Each cover distills the emotional core of its novel through evocative imagery rather than ornament. From the storm-charged turmoil of The Sound and the Fury to the quiet desolation of Soldier's Pay, Marchewa's designs use minimalism as a form of revelation, creating a unified yet varied visual language attuned to Faulkner's exploration of consciousness and time.
"Christina's designs are evocative without being literal and atmospheric without being heavy-handed," said Charles Carlini of Casa Carlini. "These are editions built to last—thoughtful, handsome, and as boldly imagined as Faulkner's prose."
The Carlini Classics Faulkner series is available now on the Casa Carlini website (https://casacarlini.com) and on Amazon. Audiobook editions are planned for release throughout 2026.
