WINDER, Georgia  - FYAHOUSE, the small-batch Caribbean-inspired food brand known for its premium jerk seasoning, has announced the launch of the inaugural FYAHOUSE Flavor Showdown, an official qualifying event for the World Food Championships (WFC). Aspiring culinary competitors from across the United States are invited to vie for a coveted Golden Ticket and the chance to advance to the world's largest and most prestigious food competition.

The World Food Championships, founded in 2012, attract culinary competitors from around the globe and have become the premier stage for food sport athletes. The FYAHOUSE Flavor Showdown joins this global ecosystem as one of the newest qualifying events, signaling the brand's rapid rise within the culinary community.

Winners of the FYAHOUSE Flavor Showdown will advance to the World Food Championships, where they will compete against top talent from around the globe in categories such as Chef, Burger, Seafood, Dessert, Live Fire, and more. The contest gives competitors the freedom to experiment with and celebrate the rich, smoky, spicy profile of jerk seasoning, showcasing how FYAHOUSE can elevate dishes on the world stage.

A Two-Part Culinary Challenge

The inaugural showdown features a dynamic two-part format designed to celebrate creativity, culture, and community. The competition is divided into two stages:

Stage 1: Recipe Submission (Open Now - March 7, 2026)

Participants submit their original FYAHOUSE-inspired recipes online. Judges will score submissions based on creativity, execution, presentation, and innovative use of FYAHOUSE seasoning as the STAR ingredient. At the close of the submission window, FYAHOUSE will select the top three finalists and overall winner.

Stage 2: Optional Live Tasting Finale - March 21, 2026

Top 3 finalists who are local or willing to travel will be invited to prepare their dishes live at the FYAHOUSE Tasting Experience in Winder, Georgia. Event attendees will sample each finalist's dish and cast their votes, awarding the People's Choice Cash Prize.  The highly coveted Golden Ticket to the World Food Championships will also be announced at the event.
