Join hundreds of cyclists for a festive ride through the heart of Desert Hot Springs in celebration of the new year!
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. - Rezul -- Desert Hot Springs, CA — The City of Desert Hot Springs is excited to announce its collaboration with Los Angeles Critical Mass for the inaugural downtown bicycle event, set to take place on the last Saturday of January 2026. This exciting event will bring together hundreds of cyclists from the Coachella Valley and surrounding counties to celebrate the new year in style.
President Lisa Lundie and Vice President Jojo Valdez of Los Angeles Critical Mass recently met with city officials to plan this groundbreaking event. The collaboration aims to promote cycling culture and community engagement while providing valuable support and advice throughout the planning process.
As part of the festivities, the City of Desert Hot Springs will temporarily shut down streets to create a safe and enjoyable environment for participants. Lisa Lundie will lead the Coachella Valley cyclists through the vibrant downtown streets, showcasing the beauty and spirit of the area.
