NEW YORK - Rezul -- Café Grumpy, the woman-owned specialty coffee company that has been a staple of New York City since 2005, announces an exclusive collaboration with Oishii, the pioneering vertical farm celebrated for its extraordinary strawberries. This May, Café Grumpy's Grand Central Terminal and Weehawken locations will offer three limited-edition beverages crafted with Oishii's Koyo Berry - a collaboration between two local makers who focus on quality.
Meet the Koyo Berry
Oishii's Koyo Berry, whose name means "elated" in Japanese, is the second strawberry varietal from the New Jersey-based indoor farm. Grown in a meticulously controlled environment, the Koyo is known for its slightly firm texture, bright aroma, eye-opening flavor, and refreshing sweetness.
