Book Six in Kilpack's Award-Winning Epic Fantasy Series On Sale Now

WEST JORDAN, Utah - Rezul -- W.D. Kilpack III of West Jordan, Utah, released his sixth fantasy novel, Usurper's Might: Book Six of New Blood. Published March 30 on Amazon, it continues the award‑winning New Blood Saga, which earned 43 literary honors across its first five titles.

The eight‑book series follows Natharr, the Guardian of Maarihk; Nathan, the crown prince; and Ellis the Elder, a figure said to have lived since the age of the Gods. In this installment, the Rilari are scattered as the Usurper's power grows. The Guardian, Ellis, Thair, and the remaining Knights of Ril struggle to maintain a fragile peace as a long‑foretold darkness approaches. Meanwhile, Nathan undergoes harsh training under one of the Empire's greatest warriors, forcing him to confront the cost of pursuing vengeance.

The remaining books in the series are Dark Guard and Guardian. Among the saga's honors are the International Impact Book Award, the International Firebird Book Award, The BookFest Award, the International Impact Book Award and, in the Outstanding Creator Awards, Fiction Book of the Year, Ultimate Championship Trophy, and Best Fiction Writing. He also authored the Native American sci-fi novella, Pale Face (currently in movie development), and the first two of the military sci-fi trilogy, the Battle Calm Cycle. These three titles earned nine book awards, including Honorable Mention in L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future Contest, making the total 52.

Kilpack earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Westminster University. A former high‑performing Greco‑Roman wrestler, he qualified to represent the USA.
