Bay Street Yard to host Fa La La Family Nights Dec. 9 and 16

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Rezul -- Bay Street Yard, downtown Fort Myers' popular outdoor entertainment venue, is kicking off the holidays with two nights of family-friendly fun on Dec. 9 and 16.

From 5 to 9 p.m., families can enjoy an evening of festive fun with holiday arts and crafts, Christmas candy goodie bags, popcorn and a cozy holiday movie under the stars. Bay Street Yard will show "Elf" on Dec. 9 and "The Polar Express" on Dec. 16, with both films beginning at 6 p.m. on the jumbo screen. Santa will also make a special appearance on Dec. 16 for photos and magical moments with children.

Bay Street Yard will offer festive cocktails and mocktails for all to celebrate. For the kids, hot chocolate and Santa's Hat Shirely Temples will be available. Those 21 and older can enjoy their choice of a Dirty Snowman, which includes Baileys, vanilla vodka and amaretto, or a Santa's Dirty Shirley with vodka, grenadine and lemon-lime soda. Tasty food will also be available from Bay Street Yard's onsite food trucks.
