Anoki Foundation Launches Ramadan Fundraiser To Provide Essential Food Packages In Pakistan

DERBY, U.K. - Rezul -- The Anoki Foundation, the charitable arm of award-winning East Midlands Indian restaurant group Anoki, has launched a fundraising campaign to provide essential food packages to families in need across Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.

The fundraiser aims to ease the hardship of food insecurity by delivering vital food supplies that will support families throughout the month.

For just £25 per family, the Anoki Foundation will supply a Ramzan Rashan Pack containing essential food items including flour, rice, pulses, sugar, cooking oil, tea and spices - all of which are critical during the fasting season. The campaign is hosted on GoFundMe, giving donors a secure and trusted platform to contribute.

The foundation operates a 100% donation policy and every penny donated goes directly towards purchasing food packages, with no administrative fees or deductions.

"Ramadan is a time of compassion, generosity and reflection, but for many families living in poverty, it can also be a period of real hardship. Something as simple as putting food on the table becomes a daily struggle.

"Through the Anoki Foundation, we want to help families observe Ramadan with dignity and peace of mind. £25 can provide the essentials to support a family throughout the month. Together, we can make a genuine difference to people who need it most."

This year, Ramadan begins on 17 February and lasts until 18 March 2026.

Funds raised will be used to purchase, pack and distribute the food packages via trusted partners in Pakistan, ensuring they reach those in greatest need during Ramadan.

Alongside it's Ramadan fundraiser, the Anoki Foundation is also raising finds to dig new water wells in Pakistan. Each new water well provides up to 200 families with access to clean water for drinking, washing, and cooking, as well as keeping livestock hydrated.
