Rezul News/10720060
Noah Coughlan attempts to become only the THIRD person to ever cross all 50 States on foot on his "2026 Run For America :A Tribute to the American People".
CHARLESTON, S.C. - Rezul -- Noah Coughlan has started the Carolinas leg of the 2026 Run For America after crossing Kansas on foot in 19 days across 514 miles. His route will take him through historic Charleston and into the scenic Myrtle Beach area this week.
This final transcontinental run will make Noah only the third person to ever cross all 50 States on foot. Coughlan engages big cities and small towns honoring everyday Americans and Veterans, encouraging unity while highlighting the enduring spirit of our Nation through media and storytelling for a renewed appreciation for America's shared history in the build up to America's 250th Anniversary on Independence Day 2026.
Coughlan has previously completed 4 transcontinental Ocean to Ocean runs across America in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2023. He has never crossed Kansas and the Carolinas until now.

Once complete, Coughlan will start his 5th and final Run across America from Maine to Oregon, the Atlantic to the Pacific where he will complete all lower 48 States.
The Run will continue across 900 miles of Alaska, and culminate on Independence Day July 4th, 2026 after crossing Hawaii, his 50th State.
Coughlan runs solo with a large American Flag attached to a jogging stroller. Along the way, he is interviewing the American People and Veterans with an urgency on meeting the remaining World War II Veterans. "What does America mean to you?" "What does the American Flag mean to you?"
His efforts are again proving to make a significant impact wherever he goes. Coughlan has so far met with elected officials, World War II Veterans, spoke to high school and middle school students, news reporters, and highlighted everyday Americans daily.
Coughlan reminds us all that the American Flag is for all Americans and what Her Stars and Stripes symbolize. Hope, Resilience, Freedom, Liberty, Sacrifice, and Unity in Diversity. "Out of Many, We are One". - E Pluribus Unum.
