Philadelphia YMCA Commercial Pool Counts On Patriot Pool Heating To Save Their Pool Heating System

Rezul News/10494181
Plumbing problems and inappropriate pool heating equipment can cost your company $1,000's of wasted dollars every year. Patriot Pool Heating specializes in commercial pool efficiency

PHILADELPHIA, PA, Pa. - Rezul -- When it comes to commercial pool pluming and heating, small problems with the initial installation can cause major pool problems downs the road.  That was the case when Patriot Pool Heating was called in to the YMCA on City Line in Pennsylvania.

Having recently purchased several new pool heating units only 18 months ago, the YMCA was confident that their commercial pool heating configuration was well above the standards needed to provide reliable and efficient pool heat.

Unfortunately, upon inspecting the pool pump room, heating system pluming and the actual units themselves, it become instantly clear that a shoddy installation was causing major issues with the entire pump room and pool heating system.

Patriot Pool Heating immediately stepped in and, upon careful inspection, identified many pool heater installation issues that needed immediate attention.   For instance, the gas piping and regulator installation was completely incorrect.  Second, the pool heaters were improperly adjusted at the time of commissioning and third, the pool water system was improperly installed.

In the end, these three commercial heater installation mistakes voided the warranty on virtually brand new pool heaters, causing the YMCA a substantial loss.  www.Commercialpoolheatingpa.com

Improper gas pipping and regulator installation: The gas line was installed with incorrect placement of regulator, sediment trap, and gas valve.  This along with the incorrect gas regulator caused the heater to run very lean which caused soot to form which led to catastrophic and premature heat exchanger failure.

Improper pool water pipping and configuration was used: The lines were too small not allowing enough water flow.  Correct lines were used and tying them into the six inch pipe was redone to allow for proper water flow and service.

In the end, Patriot Pool Heating was able to quickly replace the heater in the time allotted and work with the manager to finalize adjustments as needed that did not interrupt pool usage.

The moral of the story here, don't trust just any commercial pool heating company to handle your pool heater system upgrades, replacements or repairs.  Call the experts at Patriot and get the job done right the first time.
