Mister Illusion aka Charlie Fass to Perform in Passaic, New Jersey School

This coming Friday, Charlie Fass will be performing his magic show at the Martin Luther King Jr Elementary School to 1050 students combining his anti-bullying message to the performance.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. - Oct. 9, 2017 - Rezul -- It may be Friday the 13th, but Charlie Fass (aka Mister Illusion) will be performing his magic show at the Martin Luthere King Jr Elementary School in Passaic New Jersey for 1050 students.  This will not be an ordinary magic show in that the entire performance will be addressing the subject of bullying in the school environment.

Bullying is an on-going issue with many schools today, and students as well as faculty often search for ways to deal with this challenge.  Charlie Fass's presentation addresses not only what bullying is, but the characteristics of bullies, reasons that some students bully, reasons to not bully, what to do if you are bullied, what to do if you see bullying, and if you are a bully--how you can change.

Using magic to illustrate the subject creates a learning attitude by utilizing the interest in illusion and wonder.  Charlie has used magic in other contexts to achieve success in other schools and organizations as well.
Last week, Charlie performed a family fun-night fulfillment night at the Excelsior elementary School in Roseville.  The full illusion stage show was produced as a fund raiser to support the school and parent-teacher organization.  A similar fund raiser show will be presented later this month at the Franklin School in Loomis California and it will be tied to the school's message R.I.S.E. (Rise, Integrity, Safety, Effort).  In November, Charlie will be performing for a meeting of the Veterans of Foreign Wars with the State Commander present.  In addition to these kinds of events, Charlie's schedule is still very full with birthday parties, senior center shows, and Halloween events.  His wife Barb joins him as his assistant at these events as well.

At a recent event, the show had several "wow factors" to include mind reading, appearance by Barb from out of nowhere, the famous tablecloth stunt, and the levitation of a volunteer from the audience.

Over twenty years of magic performances have resulted in an entertaining show, and according to Charlie, entertainment is what it is all about.  To quote him: "There is a shortage of laughter in the world, and we are doing everything we can to help reduce that shortage"
