Kuester Management Group Sheds Light on Beneficial HOA Amenities to Consider
Rezul News/10591267
Kuester Management Group shares ideas on features the HOA can add to the community to appeal to members and enrich the neighborhood.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Rezul -- Neighborhoods are like small communities of their own, especially if they have an HOA in place. One of the perks of being part of an HOA is having access to a variety of amenities, events, and activities. Kuester Management Group has released a statement to the press regarding different amenities that may appeal to homeowners and their families and make the neighborhood a more attractive place to live.
"The amenities in every HOA are different because they depend on what members want, the amount of space and resources available, and how active the board is," says Bryan Kuester, President of Kuester Management Group. "If your association is looking to spruce things up and appeal to more members, here are some great ideas to consider."

Pools, fitness centers, clubhouses, and playgrounds are some of the most popular amenities that can be found in HOA communities, says Kuester. But even these standard features can be improved. Consider making playgrounds more accessible for people of all ability levels. Upgrade the pool area by adding a splashpad, kiddie pool, or waterslide if feasible. Invest in new equipment for the fitness center to accommodate more people or types of exercise.
When it comes to outdoor spaces, take a survey to see what types of recreational areas appeal to members. Do they want to be able to use the tennis courts for pickleball as well? Should basketball courts be added? What about hiking trails or a relaxing pocket park with a fountain or gazebo? A community garden can also be an attractive addition and bring people together for a good cause.
With more people working from home, would members like to see communal workspaces available so they can socialize with others while still being productive? The HOA could also consider creating a business center that has meeting space, equipment, and Internet connections.

"Talk to members and invite their ideas and input so the HOA can start planning and budgeting for new or upgraded amenities," says Kuester. "Put the money to good use and increase the value and appeal of the community by focusing on what matters most to homeowners and what would have the greatest return on investment."
Turn to Kuester Management Group for help with planning, budgeting, executing, and managing different HOA projects and initiatives.
